Ok, so a few of you now knew this was in the mix but pieces are now coming together so I thought I'd post it up here, just in case more people were interested in joining...

The Cobra Kai!



Ashbash and myself have been talking about this for some time and it is about time we put up the info as it is a reasonably priced build.
Above is the 10 inch patch the goes on the back of the gi.

This is the back patch with the front chest patch for size comparrison.


These patches I believe caost about $35 so not too bad.

Next is the Black Belt, you can get these from any decent martial arts stores. I got mine from RMR martial arts in Mt gravatt (right next to Astro Petes) for $8


Next is basic Karate patches to for the right leg, these are like signs of victory sort of thing.


Next step is the gi itself which will be coming shorty. We have order basic black karate gi's and from there we are going to cut off the sleaves and add the gold trimming. We have gone for 8-12 oz cotton gi's instead of canvas ones to allow better airflow.

Next step is to customise your own look for the part, easily done!

the hell!!!??? I did a 4.5 hour slog session to get my 1st dan... then i paid $150 to get it sent from Japan. On top of all that, 12 years of non-stop martial arts training.

can't wait to walk around nova & geddon like this. but it will be very surreal to be in gi and not ACTUALLY training

That's cool!... there's a MMA gym that goes by Cobra Kai in the states that you could check out if you need any extra patches and what not, they use all the same colours and such...
