Yay! I finally got around to getting my Oola costume approved.
I made this costume back in 1997. I wore it to the Premiere of The Phantom Menace, and a Star Wars Convention in Melbourne.
The paint job I did at the time was pretty bad though.
Five years later, I wore it again a couple of times, but with a unitard, as I was dancing in it, and it was more convenient to put on that way. It looked much better, but obviously not approvable like that.
I had always planned to replace my Lekku, as it had become very heavy and uncomfortable, so I figured I may as well fix it up, and submit it.
My first submission came back with a couple of things I needed to fix mainly on the headpiece, which were fair enough, and now it's been approved.

And thanks to Oevil1 for helping me fix the headpiece, and to Philip for helping to paint me, and helping to wash the paint off. Hehe.
