Date: September 27th
Venue: Mr toys Toyworld Lawnton
Time: 0900 to midday
Mission: Annual Empire invasion of the toy store and direct buyers to the Star Wars section and bring smiles to all the kids faces
Trooper Attendance: See sign up sheet - http://www.501st.com.au/forum/signupsheet.php?eid=694
The annual Mr Toys troop was another hit and with a good selection of troopers attending the crowds were eager to get pics with all of us. Vader is always the hit but the attendance of Sabine was a stand out with the younger punters with the hype around Star Wars Rebels and the quality of the costume displayed was top notch.
Many games were planned for the day and may treasure hunts started which were won by many of our Galactic Academy members who walked away with Star Wars prizes like happy Jawas on a droid hunt
The appearance of silver car from some movie i can't remember had some of the troopers in a time spin and some photo antics.
All round a great day and a big shout out to all the troopers, wranglers and cadets who attended and Mr Toys donated $660 to charity as well!
