New Cadet

Hi Everyone

My name is Graham Cooper and I own the local gaming store (Pegasus Gaming) in Bundaberg. Having met up with a member last week, I organised a 501st information session last night in store and hope that more recruits will sign up and do their bit for the galactic Empire. You can check out some photos on our Facebook page.

I am hoping to reach scout trooper armour after becoming a Jawa. I look forward to becoming a full member and getting some trooping on Smile

Welcome to the forums. That's a great effort, hope you get a few on board.
As I commented on Phill's thread, we've done a run of Jawa's, so we may be able to help out there.
We've got some biker scouts being worked on too.
For all things scout head over to the scout detachment at http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?act=idx

It's loads of fun, you will want to get other people involved.

I have signed on there and am waiting for admin to give me posting rights. I am definitely going to do my best to ensure the growth of the 501st in our area.

Any help with the two costumes will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome aboard. There are a few budding biker scouts on the way. PM Beanie as well for the hard armour info. He organised a massive run and did all the research. The armour that was supplied was great. Also PM mammasith and she should be able to hook you up with the soft armour parts. PM Azrael for the boots. PM oevil for a blaster (I think he is still making them).

Mammasith also does jawa robes. I have her robes and they are great. Azrael makes amazing jawa masks. The boots are very easy for a jawa. Happy to show you how I did mine. Shop local I say, if you can.

Great to have a Bundy local. Best ginger beer.

Hi there and welcome to the forums.

For research on Scouts head over to http://www.bikerscout.net/ for the scout info.

Research on Jawas http://www.kraytclan.com/ These guys come in all shapes and sizes Smile

I would also suggest that you have a read of this thread it will give you a good indication about how to go about membership etc.

http://www.501st.com.au/forum/showthread.php?tid=6720

Before you shell out your hard earned $$$ I would suggest that you ask around as some prices on kits/costumes do vary and we would hate to see any new cadet get burnt.

Good luck with the costume research and don't forget to ask loads of questions.

Thanks for the info, does anyone make the bandoleers, here in Oz?

Angelman, definitely interested in this so any info you can give would be fantastic. The sooner the costume the better. Smile

If you join the Krayt Clan forum www.kraytclan.com there is stencils on how to make the more accurate, British P-1903 bandolier. They are really easy to make, and look a lot better than the more commonly used Mauser's.
