If you are still puzzled on what costume to go with have a look over all the CRLs and pick one, but usually best to pick something that you really want to do. If you want a stormtrooper go for it, research the kits available for the best kit to suit your body and your budget.

Do heaps of research, that is something that I highly recommend for any costume. Read and re-read the CRL, sign up on the detachment to research screen images, builds, where to buy parts, how to make parts, do a build thread to get feedback along the way so you won't get disappointed at the approval stage if something requires to be fixed.
