I attend those as well as the social nights the 501st do and it's a great way to meet people. Keep an eye out for volunteering/wrangling on the events page as that is another way to socialise with the members. I just recently attended Carrara Markets first ever cosplay parade which was great and the people there loved my outfit even though it's not approvable. My advice is to do as much research as you can and ask many questions to get the right outfit as it has to be as movie accurate as possible. Hope this helps out and have a great day
Hello! Yeah, I do a lot of cosplaying, just not typically Star Wars. I really enjoyed wrangling/helping out at Dreamworld - it was great to meet everyone.
Thanks - I've been looking into the CRL a lot - perhaps starting off with an 'easier' costume and working my way up as I get a little better at sewing haha
