[Glitch]

Hey all!
i've been up at my grandads for 2 days now, and he's been building this for me!
it's based off of this gun



So here's the barrel parts done on the lathe and a hole saw


and Here's the main barrel


This is the main body taking shape


That's the aluminium screwing in to make the front handle supports


This is it half done


That's the wood for the handle and the magazine under the gun


and this is where we finished today, the handle completed on the lathe!


Don't mess with my Grandad huh?
will be making the magazine, the side panels, the rear handle and a collar to keep the barrels sliding out. tomorrow!

Construction update #2!

here's the barrels


Here's the shaft for the drill to grasp onto


this is the velcro for the removable side panel!


Designs for the handle and ammo magazine


This is the collar being done on the lathe, this keeps it from slipping out of the main body with a bolt through the middle.


This is the removable side panel completed!


Here is the main body with the magazine attached and the side panels completed


You can see the slots for the strap on top here, and the handle being screwed and glued!


and this is the main body completed!


and this is it all finished and put together as of this afternoon!


not bad for 3 days up at grandad's! now you see why i get things done so quick!

Looks awesome Glitch Your Grandad sounds like a great bloke. I have very fond memories of working with my Pop in his timber shed, either turning on his lathe or making fishing lures, good times
