Very few of the film used versions actually had these wires so we shall see. Maybe so more research will push me to go there.

I don't think the curly wires were actually used for on-screen blasters. I could be wrong.. but I thought I read somewhere that they only appeared on an E11 that was used for post production photo shoots?

Yes indeed.
\Blasters with wire, without wire, some blaster with no Hengsler counter, some fired blanks, some were non firing stunt guns etc.

Fantastic build thread Sly. I am waiting for a blastfx kit to arrive then it will be time to really get into putting the doopys kit together. Any other tips/doopys kit tutorial links you know of ?
