Hopefully, this weekend I'll get the filling and sanding done, as well as gluing on the T-Track, bolt and greeblies, and then a layer of spray putty.

One thing that had become more and more noticeable as the build has gone on was the fact that the legs were quite flexible and had a significant warp in them in their resting state. This needed to be addressed.

So, I caaarreeefulllly dremelled a channel within each leg. This would allow me to place a length of aluminium in to maintain the legs in a far straighter line.

This seemed to work well, and the aluminium rods are placed and glued.

First two light coats of silver on, using MTN 94 spray paint:

Will let it dry for a day and then give it a light sand with some wet/dry 2000.

*Update*

Things didn't go entirely as planned with the black. Neither of the cans of MTN 94 black wanted to spray properly. I tried multiple nozzles to no avail. So I ended up with a globby mess, as the cans would spray OK for a couple of seconds then sputter and fail.

Will try and get a couple of replacement tins today and have another crack tomorrow after some sanding.
