I must admit, I approached this project with considerable trepidation. I’ve been in the club for around nine years – eight of which have been primarily as an administrator in one form or another – so this build was quite outside of my comfort zone.
My main aim was simply to not end up gluing my head to my workbench during this build; and I am happy to report that although I had a few close calls, I managed to avoid that outcome.
For those of you who have followed the build thread to this point – I am amazed at how well this turned out with zero previous experience on my part. For those of you (like myself) who have always envied other peoples’ prop builds and not had the courage to do your own – then I heartily recommend having a go yourself – you may just surprise yourself
