Starlightweek - EB Games Hervey Bay

To add Redback awesomeness to Starlight Week activities at EB Games in Hervey Bay

Baytrooper and BigDub arrived at the location keen to follow up on their previous day of trooping, hoping to help raise funds for Starlight Week at EB Games. These 2 troopers received rather late notification from other local troopers that they would be on their own for this one but that did not stop them. 

Having occupied a stronghold for a while now within the same sector as EB, they utilised this as their base to prepared to dazzle the crowds and collect funds for Starlight










These 2 committed troopers were also joined for a short time by some characters from other sectors in the universe. Baytooper looks as though he was a bit upset at not being the only Disney princess at the location.






A quick trip back to base and a costume change for BigDub. 



A mysterious little girl that said she knew who the troopers were, posed for a holopic with them.  Luckily, this was not one of the 8 little ones that BigDub brought to tears on the day. 



Ben & Ben ( Yes, both named Ben  ) looked after us on the day and were very appreciative of our efforts, giving them the best day result for the week.




Charity Funds Raised: $587.15

Injuries / Malfunctions: Nil

Public Incidents: N/A (The cry count was 8-2 on the day, with BigDub proving scarier, although Baytrooper had 1 that continued for about 20 minutes

Mission Status: Always a fun troop. Another very successful mission with a great amount raised on the day we were there. Thanks BigDub for your efforts again today.

"Vader and the White Ninja Turtle" won the day. Time flew by and we pumped out some serious donations whilst we inadvertently scared half of the kids that visited Stocklands that day. I was pretty certain the tiny girl you scarred would be leaving via the storeroom as she never really came good. Thanks for a great double troop weekend boss-man.

I must say that your steady and absolute stillness when being referred to as Darth Vader was impressive. Harsh to the young fella trying to ask said "Darth Vader" a question but impressive none the less
