Sellys 2 part epoxy glue from Bunnings and yes they are wood screws. Pilot holes drilled beforehand

I appreciated the advice of drilling/screwing on as many of the converison pieces as possible as well as glueing. Even the most careful handling of your gun can result in it being dropped when you're in a crowd with limited vision and little ones around, and you don't want pieces flying everywhere.

I've hit week 3, and still no Doopy kit has arrived, getting anxious. Damn you Doopy Doo!!!!

should be soonish 2-3 weeks I recall as being normal from the UK
